Medik8 offers a wide range of ‘medical-grade’ peel treatments to suit everyone. From those who are very new to chemical peeling techniques, to experienced clients looking for deeper levels of epidermal peeling with intensive results. There is a treatment type for every skin type and concern.
A patch test and consultation is required 2 weeks before your first treatment. For most effective results, we recommend a course of 6 treatments, spaced evenly every 10 to 14 days.

Less aggressive than the Epionce Corrective Peel, Lite Refresh is a good entry point for clients new to skin peels or for those looking for a more frequent treatment that will boost the condition of the skin by smoothing and brightening. This peel provides a positive anti-oxidant effect, contains anti-inflammatory properties and promotes collagen production.

Chemical peels are becoming more and more popular worldwide. They are cheaper than laser, but have a similar result for targeting wrinkles, pigmentation and blemishes, reducing their prominence. It is also more comfortable than laser, with less downtime. Through a course of skin peels, combined with an at-home treatment and guidance from one of our in-salon trained therapists, you'll really see the difference and 'be wowed' by the impact of the Medik8 12 Weeks to Wow treatment!

Chemical peels are professional-grade exfoliating acids, applied to the skin by one of our in-salon trained therapists. It is applied with a small brush to help resurface and retexture. There's something for all skin types and concerns - and one of the team will work closely with you to find the ideal routine for your skin.

Chemical peels are suitable for almost everyone. At Beauty Within Salon, we have a wide range of products to suit all skin types - from the Sensitive PHA Peel which is suitable for very sensitive skin types, right through to the mono peels which use high-strength single acids which can even be layered to target stubborn concerns like pigmentation.
Customers with specific skin conditions may need more support to ensure skin is normalised before a course of peels - for example those with an impaired skin barrier.
We do not recommend peels for pregnant or nursing mums. If you're a pregnant or nursing mum, we'd recommend exploring our relaxing facial treatments instead. Using Medik8 or Epionce products, you'll still see incredible results across face or body, but with an emphasis on the luxury.

Chemical peels, by definition, may cause redness, skin flaking and mild peeling; but all skin is different. We recommend you do not wear any make-up 12 hours after your chemical peel to guarantee your skin remains bacteria-free. You will be provided guidance on looking after your skin at home, to ensure your skin recovers and rejuvenates properly. You should expect flaking from potentially the 3rd day post-peel - this could last for a further 5 days. Avoid direct sun exposure and always wear a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30.

We do offer singular Medik8 chemical peels, however we recommend a course of 6 (the 12 Weeks to Wow treatment!) to really see the long-term skin benefits. Our in-salon Medik8-trained beauty therapists will work with you over a 12 week* period to visibly transform your skin through a personalised programme of in-salon treatments and at-home care to achieve skin that really wows.

Within 24 hours post-peel, your skin might feel a little tight and appear slightly flushed. After 3 days, your skin is likely to start to flake, and within a week you will start to see visible results! If you utilise our 12 Weeks to Wow programme, results will be even more visibly profound.
